“As long as I can remember I’ve wanted to photograph the things I love to do. From BMX and baseball as a kid, to wrenching on cars and motorcycles, off-road adventures and cycling as a big kid. Throughout my career, I’ve been a Pastry Chef, Web Designer, Grand Format Printer and A/V System Designer. Now, I find myself answering the question, why not do more? See what I’m complaining about on Twitter @dirt_bag or on Instagram: ilikerad.

“Being athletic has always been part of my identity as a way to work on personal goals, relieve stress and express myself. Once I graduated from college, I started a full-scale, decade long obsession with everything bike related. I raced mountain bikes in various formats on the local and national level (cross country, endurance, downhill) and even dabbled in cyclocross and road riding. In the past two years, CrossFit competition has become my focus, and I’ve developed a passion for Olympic weightlifting. My personal health journey has taken me from an overweight kid—even though I did sports I didn’t understand anything about nutrition—to a fine-tuned athlete who runs on high quality, real foods. Eating Paleo/primal for the past 2.5 years has changed my life, so much so that I started a food blog—www.stupideasypaleo.com—to share all my favorite recipes.”

“Working in Public Relations, helping run a developmental cycling team, riding as much as possible so I can keep up with said cycling team, playing ice hockey and being married just isn’t eating up enough of my time. I was introduced to the sport of cycling in 2008 and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Years later, not a moment goes by that I am not reminded why I would rather be outside on my bike. Like right now, I’d much rather be outside riding than sitting in this office. Unfortunately, I cannot ride 24 hours a day so I decided to take some of my free time and help youngsters get to the next level of their cycling careers. When I am not here or on my bike, find me on Twitter @imdg.”
