One thing I love about the Nike Air Jordan line of sneakers is their understated style. In a world of ‘Look How Many Colors We Can Add To Our Shoes To Make Them Look Cool’, the Jordan is and always will be, The Jordan. Dropping this coming May 23rd, the new Air Jordan 11 Retro Low ‘True Red’ takes the ever popular Jordan 11 High-Top and cuts it in half. The logo swings from the side to the back keeping the shoe less busy just as I like it.
If you can believe it, this shoe is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of His Airness’ shoe line. That’s Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time for the younger crowd who thinks it’s Kobe. It’s not. If you want to get your hands on these new sneakers, they’ll set you back $170 and will most likely sell out quickly.
On top of aesthetics, Air Jordan’s have always been great shoes. Solid and comfortable on and off the court. I’ve been buying them since their inception. I even saved a few from the 90s that I’ll never give up.
Head on over to Nike and bookmark this page. Hopefully, I’m around a computer on the 23rd to grab a pair.
