What happened to kids getting slingshots for Christmas? Are the Father’s of the world failing or are people becoming too paranoid? I’ll take the latter for $1000 Alex. I must have owned a dozen slingshots as a kid, several of them I made by hand. Searching the creek beds for a good sized stick or branch was just as much fun as sending rocks across the orange groves. Although the homemade jobs always did well, nothing beat the first model purchased from a hunting store crafted by a master.
Today I want to share with you the next level of slingshots, the Zodiac Engineering Classic Slingshot. This bad boy is milled from 7075 aluminum and fitted with G10 scales, replaceable Trumark Heavy Pull RR-2 Powerbands and a leather sling pouch ready for launching. Every unit is proudly Made in USA and the replaceable Powerbands can be found at most sporting goods stores. Slingshots are great fun around the campfire and aren’t all that bad as a second line of defense if that time comes.
