Looking to create the perfect modular camera bag, Spencer Nikosey took to his trusty Moleskine and sketched what would become the latest handmade product from Killspencer. Located in a small workshop in Silverlake (Los Angeles, CA), Killspencer designs and manufactures gorgeous made-to-order goods like Dopp Kits, Duffles, Backpacks, iPad Sleeves and now, the Precision Pocket Modular Camera Bag ($750).
After weeks of design and development, the first run of bags were given to a hand-picked group of photographers to test its merit. With thumbs up all around, the new bag was born. This camera bag is made out of premium leather and features a black bullhide leather flap and taupe leather interior. It is structured and foam padded, has a patented Cobra Buckle, and 2 front pockets that fit a pocket sized Moleskine. Multiple Alice clip attachment points are found surrounding the bag, which can be used to clip on their iPad Mini Case or 2 Accessory Cases.
If you are the owner of a Leica T camera, you are in luck. The Killspencer Precision Pocket Camera Bucket ($120) is custom made to fit the camera and is made out of scratch resistant Alcantara. Don’t own a Leica T? No problem, you can have one custom made to fit your camera.
Part of the new kit also includes Leather + Ripstop Drawstring Lens Pouches ($69-$89). They come in two sizes to accommodate both of the Leica T lenses. Also available in custom sizing. To complete your kit, there is also the Precision Pocket SD Card Carrier (pictured above) that is specifically designed to fit up to 4 SD cards, 2 Leica T pins, and 2 Leica T tools. The carrier fastens with an elastic security strap ($150).
