There are quite a few boutique bicycle makers circling the globe these days. Few do it like Budnitz Bicycles. We shared their No.3 Titanium bike not long ago and because it received such great response, we knew when the No.3 Honey Edition dropped, our readers would be itching for more.
This special edition features a titanium honey-leather saddle by Brooks of England, honey leather grips, and creme tires imported from Germany. Equally suited for the daily commute, afternoon rides in the park — or tearing around corners and urban alleyways at breakneck speed.
Model No.3 was completely re-engineered from the ground up for 2014. The twin-tube single arc cantilever frame features double curved down tubes, increasing lateral stiffness for speed and quick handling while absorbing road shock for comfort. Big 29-inch wheels, a long wheelbase, and 2-inch tires make No.3 a fast and comfortable bicycle that flies smoothly over just about any road surface, from gravel to cobblestones to dirt roads.
Also featured is a silent belt drive, and available weather-proof 14-speed internal transmission by Rohloff. The HoneyEdition is built by hand with race-quality titanium components, and designed to last a lifetime. This bicycle is available in limited quantities starting at $2895.
