I’ve spent countless nights under the stars in the desert. I can tell you that having a reliable water source around for cleaning and drinking is worth its weight in gold. Carrying a few extra gallons of water in the trunk is great, but having a pressurized water system onboard is far better. The Road Shower aims to give you exactly that. A sleek, compact water system that mounts to nearly any stock or aftermarket roof rail system.
Road Shower Specs:
- Holds 5 gallons of water
- Measures 56.5 x 7 x 5-inches
- Empty weight: 15 lbs.
- Full weight: 55 lbs.
- Made from Aluminum (powder coated for protection)
- Hose length: 55-inches
Using clips and velcro, the Road Shower hose secures alongside the tank and can also be used as a hand-free shower system. Using a simple bicycle tire pump or small CO2 cartridge, you can easily pressurize the tank up to 15PSI. A pressure relief system is also built in for security.
Holding 5 gallons doesn’t mean you and your family of 5 are going to be taking long showers, so keep that in mind. It should be enough for a quick rinse off of you or a piece of gear. The non-toxic Food Grade hose is safe to drink from in case you’d rather savor every last drop for hydration. Road Shower tells us they’ve put over 6 years of testing and countless miles on and off road testing the product. Pick one up for your next adventure for $300 right here.
