“It’s not your morning cup of coffee. We want to bring coffee back to the conversation table.” It’s as if Tal Fishman of Espresso Smith was reading our minds. It took Espresso Smith two and a half years to achieve what they call, “the goal was not to create a whiskey flavored coffee. the goal was to create an experience that starts with coffee and finishes with bourbon.” After taking in the video below and poking around the website, there is so much to love about Whiskey Barrel Coffee we don’t know where to begin.
The process begins with aging green coffee beans in authentic bourbon barrels in Colorado prior to roasting. To top it off, they managed to find the perfect bottle and slap incredibly gorgeous packing on its side. Did we mention chocolate covered coffee beans are also available? So, what we’re telling you is, we just found a way for you to pour a cup of coffee flavored with chocolate that has been aged for years in bourbon barrels. Perfection? Could be.
Spend 5 minutes and listen to Tal. Then head on over here and buy some coffee. Don’t forget to come back and tell us what you think! (FYI there is no alcohol in the coffee but that doesn’t mean you can’t add your own as you see fit)
