Any sign or device that helps people get fit is a good thing. Watches, pods, or even running around after your children. If it motivates you, get out and do it. Samsung recently chimed in with their latest wearable tech gadget, the Samsung Gear Fit. Sporting the industries first wearable curved AMOLED screen, the device features a pedometer, exercise meters, heart rate functionality and alerts from your smartphone (SMS, Email, Calls). The battery life is said to last up to 5 days depending on use. This device further lets us know that Samsung is committed to wearable tech with the Fit now being referred to as the in-shape brother of the Gear 2. Release date is still not yet known.
